Be Part of the Bay Sheffield: Volunteer in 2025

The Bay Sheffield Carnival began in 1887 as a celebration of our State and has become a highly anticipated and renowned event that has been running consecutively for 139 years.

As South Australia’s most richest and most prestigious foot racing event, the Bay Sheffield Carnival draws athletes from across the country to compete annually at Colley Reserve, the home of Pro Running in South Australia. Save the date for this year’s event on the 27th and 28th of December.

The Bay Sheffield is calling out for volunteers to fill the role of: Survey Data Collectors.

The role requires volunteers to approach members of the public and ask pre-determined questions.

Volunteers will be required to ask questions and fill out a provided form.

Volunteers will be provided with a Vilis pastry and Nippy’s drink as a thank you for their time.

Volunteer requirements are

• Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• Be over 16 years of age.
• Be able to speak and read English language fluently.
• Be able to Attend the event on either the 27th or 28th December

Rosters are flexible and can be from 1-3 hours depending on availability during event times.
