About

2004 Women's Bay Sheffield

LOS

The Bay Sheffield is the state’s richest and most famous footrace which has been run every year since 1887, meaning the event is celebrating 136 consecutive years. This year the Bay Sheffield will be a 2 day carnival. We will be making a much anticipated trip home to Colley Reserve.

Athletes come from all over Australia to compete. Athletes compete in handicapped racing which aims to give people of all abilities a chance to win the lucrative prize-money events. The feature events are the 120m men’s and women’s races held on the 28th December.

The Bay Sheffield is much more than just an event for athletes. It boasts a carnival atmosphere, food trucks, coffee van and a VIP area where you get the best seats to view the finish line while being served food and drinks.
